What are your best home and garden tips for the season?
"Get pre-approved! If you’re thinking about buying a home come springtime, securing financing now should be a top priority. There are several benefits to getting pre-approved. Your credit is checked so you can be alerted of any unknown problems, and you can develop an idea of your price range. Plus, it’s proof to home sellers that you can obtain financing. Getting pre-approved can save you from heartache later."
What are your featured items this season?
"Equity financing! Home values are rising; use your equity to finance your remodeling project."
What are your home or garden pet peeves?
"Having a remodeling idea with a budget, taking time to find a quality contractor, and unfortunately not being able to finance the project because the estimate was significantly higher than budget."
What is the strangest client request you've ever received?
"A client wanted financing to complete a Barndominum. I was embarrassed to let him know that I had never heard of one, and I actually had to Google it. Turns out it’s exactly what it sounds like: a barn + a condominium. It’s a barn turned into a living space!"
What is your favorite part of the Minneapolis Home + Remodeling Show?
"We've never participated in the home show before, but we're most looking forward to meeting and engaging with all of the attendees. We love to interact with and get to know all of the wonderful people in our community!"
