Star Gaze at the Main Stage
For the first time, the Minneapolis Home + Remodeling Show is making its way into the city for those who are looking for inspiration and guidance in changing a home. There is going to be a ton of curiosity and excitement centered around the event so we thought we would let you know about the celebrities, the experts and the vendors.
“Get inspired, get started,” and that is exactly what Minneapolis Home + Remodeling Show will promise to do. Tons of inspiration and helpful tips to take your home from what you thought was good enough to fantastic. During the three-day show, you can shop, compare and save with hundreds of experts in remodeling your kitchen and bath, décor, flooring and more.
You’ve seen him on TLC’s Trading Spaces and HGTV’s Design Star as well as Deserving Design, the ever so humble Vern Yip is attending the event to share his interior design expertise with you. He will be there to share advice and the latest design trends, in addition to signing autographs and promoting his new book Design Wise, which will also be on sale at the show. Meet Vern on Friday and Saturday at the Main Stage, sponsored by Sumberland Furniture.
The hilarious and smart Kayleen McCabe of DIY Network’s Rescue Renovation will also make an appearance at the show. Learn insider remodeling secrets and hear about Kayleen’s mission to teach kids about working in the trades. Kayleen will be at the Main Stage all three days of the show so that you will definitely have a chance to catch her.
Be sure to touch base with Metro Interiors owner Julie Ann Segal. She’s a big fan of pulling out all the stops to create a truly spectacular living space for her clients. Julie Ann is also a certified Feng Shui practitioner, and brings this practice into all of her design projects. Meet Julie Ann at the Main Stage on Saturday.

To honor our heroes, Friday, January 27th is HERO DAY at the Minneapolis Home + Remodeling Show and as a thank you for all that you do, all active and retired military personnel, first responders, and teachers get free admission with valid ID. Friday only.
